The Colombian has made a name for himself as a super sub with his goals off the bench, although in a rare start this week he also scored for the West Midlands club in the Champions League against Bologna.
And now his form has caught the eyes of a number of clubs, including Barcelona and Arsenal.
However, given the continued financial problems that the Catalans face, the Gunners are believed to have the edge when it comes to signing him, especially with suggestions that he could cost up to ₤80 million.
He has recently signed a contract extension that will keep him at Villa Park until 20230, so tey have no need to sell him.
However, the 20 year old will not be happy to remain an understudy for ever, and has previously been linked with a move to Chelsea.
