Chelsea are looking to re-sign former player Marc Guéhi in the summer, although they face a transfer battle with Newcastle United.
Guéhi joined Chelsea when he was six years old, but, although he progressed through their academy system to the fringes of the first=team, he never played a senior game for them.
Instead, after several loan spells with Swansea City, he joined Crystal Palace, and has made 127 appearances for them in all competitions.
He has also established himself as an England regular, and has won 22 caps, and featured for them at the Euros in the summer.
Newcastle previously tried to sign him in the last transfer window.
Having sold him for just ₤18 million, Chelsea will be aware that it will cost considerably more than that to bring him back to Stamford Bridge, although the fact that he is out of contract in 2026 means that Palace will be under some pressure to sell him.
