Arsenal forward Leandro Trossard is being linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League, with Al-Ittihad ready to offer ₤40 million.
He was signed in the 2023 January 2023 transfer window and has gone on to make 81 appearanes for the club in all competitions, scoring 20 times.
The Belgian international is under contract until June 2026, but, although there has been talk of a new deal, nothing has materialised so far, with suggestions that he is not entirely happy in North London.
In part that is a reflection of the fact that he has proved more effective when coming off the bench when starting games, and he has been inconsistent this season.
Al-Ittihad previously tried to sign Trossard on loan last summer.
The Gunners would not allow him to leave without sourcing a replacement first and there is now a suggestion that they may not try and sign Mohammed Kudus from West Ham.
