Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho remains keen on moving to Chelea in the current transfer window.
The 21 year old wants to leave Old Trafford having fallen out of favour under Ruben Amorim, and been made to train with the youth players in pre-season.
And whilst there is no shortage of interest from abroad, his preference has always been to remain in the Premier League with Chelsea.
Personal terms are not expected to be a problem.
Given the numbers of wingers Chelsea have at their disposal already, it may be questioned why they need another one.
However that is unlikely to stop them moving for a player who can be a game changer on his day.
Manchester United want ₤50 million for the player, a significant drop from their initial valuation, although Chelsea may believe they can get him for less, with United themselves needing to recoup some money after their summer transfer business.
