Newly promoted Burnley are in advanced talks with Chelsea about their Albanian striker Armando Broja.
Agreement between the clubs has already been breached, although the player himself has yet ot commit to what would be a five-year deal at Turf Moor.
Broja joined the Chelsea academy in 2009, and signed his first professional contract five years ago.
In fact, he has played less than 30 games for Chelsea in a professional career that has been derailed by a series of injuries. Instead he has undergone a series of loan moves, first to Vitesse in the Netherlands and then Southampton and Fulham.
Last season it was the turn of Everton, but injuries again restricted his appearances for them.
Since returning to Stamford Bridge this summer, he has been part of the ‘bomb squad” who have been training apart from the rest of the first-team whilst their futures are resolved.
