Bayern Munich want to sign Christopher Nkonku from Chelsea this month.
The French international joined the Blues from RB Leipzig in 2023, but has endured frustration since he has been at Stamford Bridge. Injuries meant that he missed most of his first season at the club and, although he is now back to full fitness, this season he has seen most of his opportunities come in cup competitions. Nicolas Jackson is the preferred striking option when it comes to the Premier League.
Chelsea do not want to lose him, aware that they do not have many alternatives if Jackson were to be injured. At the same time, they do not want to keep an unhappy player, and might be willing to consider an offer provided that they can get good money for him.
There are also suggestions that PSG and Atlético Madrid are also monitoring his situation.
