Turkish club Beşiktaş want to sign Arsenal midfielder Jorginho on a free transfer.
The 32-year old will become a free agent when his current contract at the Emirates expires at the end of the season, and with his minutes increasingly limited under Mikel Arteta, he is reported to be open to a move that will extend his playing career.
He did start in the Premier League against Nottingham Forest at the weekend but with withdrawn at half-time because he was on a booking.
The Italian international moved to Arsenal from Chelsea in the 2023 January transfer window, initially on an 18 month deal, although that was extended by a further year at the end of last season.
At that time it was suggested that he might eventually take up a coaching role with the Gunners but, publicly at least, there have been no developments on that front, although he remains a highly influential voice in the dressing room.
That is despite the Italian indicating that he is considering a move into coaching when he retires.
