Both Atlético Madrid and Barcelona are interested in signing Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey, who is also a target for clubs in Saudi Arabia.
Now 31, Partey has played in almost every game for the Gunners this season, but he is out o contract next summer, which means that he can begin talks with other clubs in January.
Signed from Atlético in 2020, the Ghanaian international has struggled to stay fit consistently during his time at the Emirates, and there are no indications yet that the club are ready to offer him a new deal.
And he may find his game time becomes limited, now that summer signing Mikel Merino is fit having recovered from the arm injury that delayed his start with Arsenal until the Champions League match with PSG last week.
Already there is talk with Declan Rice moving back to assume the sort of defensive midfield position Partey occupies, with Merino playing ahead of him.
