Gabriel Jesus’ s days at Arsenal would appear to be numbered.

That is if remarks from Palmeiras club president Leila Pereira are to be believed.

He has admitted his admiration for the Gunners’ striker, and the Brazil press has begun talking up his return to the country.

The 28-year-old has yet to play a competitive game this season, as he continues his recovery from the ACL injury he suffered in an FA Cup tie against Manchester United in January.

And a return date has still not been confirmed, whose time at the Emirates has been blighted by injury.

And with the Premier League club having since signed Victor Gyökeres, he might find it difficult to get back in the starting XI when fit, with Kai Havertz also to return from injury soon.

Everton are another club who have been linked with a move for the forward who remains one of he highest earners at the Emirates.
