Chelsea are reported to be happy with the progress of Conor Gallagher at Crystal Palace where the midfielder is enjoying an excellent season on loan.
He has scored none goals and provided five assists so far for the South London side and been rewarded with an England call-up as well, making his debut in the World Cup qualifier against San Marino.
There has been speculation that the club would look t maximise his potential value by selling him at eh end of the season, knowing that there would a clutch of clubs interested in signing him, but, for ow, it seems that the intent is to keep him at Stamford bridge for the next campaign, with Thomas Tuchel already having a role in mind for him in his squad.
The German insists, though, that any decision will be taken in collaboration with the player, to ensure that their goals are mutually aligned.
