Chelsea have made a habit in recent years of signing some of the best emerging young talent from South America.

Kendry Paez, Estěvão and Aaron Anselmino have all been signed by the club, although all three are considered ones for the future, and are nowhere near making their first-team debuts.

And the next name on the list may be Vitor Reis, an 18 year old centre-back, who has already broken into the first-team at Palmeiras.

They are not alone, though, with the player also on the radars of both Real Madrid and Arsenal.

Reis has already been described as the next Thiago Silva, which is a big name to live up to as far as Chelsea fans are concerned, given that the Brazilian was such a commanding presence in he centre of their defence during his time there.

Estěvão cost the club close to ₤30 million, and it is believed that Palmeiras would want a similar sum to part with the latest off their production line of talent.
