Arsenal have made progress in their pursuit of their number one transfer target.
Recruiting a centre-forward has been a priority for the club this summer, with the choice seemingly between Viktor Gyökeres and Benjamin Seško.
Whilst Gyökeres is more of a proven quantity, Seško is believed to have a higher potential ceiling and is the preferred choice of Mikel Arteta.
And now attempts to sign him have achieved a breakthrough with RB Leipzig representatives in London to thrash out the framework of a deal. It was their second such visit in a matter of deals, and it is now expected that the Gunners will table a formal bid ot sign the Slovenian international next week.
That bid is expected to be around ₤84 million, with personal terms with the player already agreed.
