Arsenal have entered the race to sign Athletic Bilbao winger Nico Williams.
They have long been in the market for another winger, as they look to relieve the burden on Bukayo Saka and believe that Williams may be the answer.
However, they have one major obstacle to overcome, and that is that Williams, who is at the Euros with the Spain national team has previously indicated a desire to join Barcelona.
There are a number of other European clubs who are also monitoring his situation.
Williams has a release clause of ₤42 million, which is good value for a money for a player who has scored 20 goals and provided 26 assists in 122 appearances for the Basque side.
Nothing substantive, though, is likely to happen until after the Euros, because the player has told his agent that he does not want to discuss anything whilst the tournament is still going.
