The rumours linking Arsenal with Juventus striker Dusan Vlahović have strengthened after report from Italy that his negotiations about a new deal with the Serie A club have irretrievably stalled.
The North London club have been interested in the Serb since his Fiorentina days, although back in 2022 he chose to remain in Italy instead.
He has gone on to score 48 goals in 111 appearances for them.
His current contract expires in 2026, and Juventus do not want to wait until the end of the season to know if he wants to continue with them.
Arsenal meanwhile will hold a watching brief, and may be ready to make an offer if there is no breakthrough.
They, however, will be wary of being used as a smokescreen by Vlahovic’s representatives, and used as a bargaining chip in a bid to force the hand of the Serie A side.
