West Ham ready to sell Füllkrug

Despite a poor start to the season, West Ham are starting to turn things round since Nuno Espirito Santo became manager.

However, they remain at the wrong end of the table, and are looking to reinforce their squad with some signings in the January transfer window.

However, in order to make way for new arrivals, some players will need to be sold, with Niclas Füllkrug high on the list of likely departures.

The 32-year old striker has been a major disappointment since signing from Borussia Dortmund in 2024. The German international has struggled to cope with the pace and the power of the Premier League, and there have also been recurrent injury problems which means he has rarely had a settled run in the team.

And now he is being linked with a return to the Bundesliga, with both Wolfsburg and Augsburg, tow teams looking to bolster their forward lines, monitoring his situation.
