United to trial young Polish players

Manchester United are set to offer two Polish defenders trials next month, with the duo travelling to England with the permission of their clubs.

Radoslaw Sewerys is currently contracted to Korona Kielce who play in the top league in Poland, the Ekstraklasa. A defender who plays regularly in the Youth League side, and who has made 5 appearances for the Poland inder-16 national team, he has yet to make his senior debut, but has been included in match day squads.

He will be joined by Mateus Lipp, who has also been capped at under-016 level by Poland, and who currently features for the Akademia “Ruch” Chorzow academy, and who has previously had trials with Arsenal and Sampdoria.

Lipp will be in the stand for Manchester United’s second leg tie against Club Brugge in the Europa League on Thursday, and is expected to be given a run out in a United under-16 match against Cheltenham Town.

About Andy Dalziel

Andy is an exiled English football fan living in Cyprus. He loves all sports but football is his abiding passion, and he still has dreams every now and then about scoring the winning goal in a Wembley Cup Final, even though his playing days are long gone. He follows most major leagues, across Europe at least, and has a favoured team in each. When he's not watching, listening, reading or downloading podcasts about football, he spend his time worrying about his beloved Arsenal.
