Super Lig side Beşiktaş want to extend the loan of Liverpool keeper Loris Karius.
The 26 year old is in the second year of his loan spell with the Istanbul side, who he joined in the summer of 2018, deemed surplus to requirements at Anfield following his horror performance in the Champions League final against Real Madrid, and the arrival at the club of Alisson Becker.
That loan period is due to come to an end this certain, and the German could potentially be left in limbo, with no route back to first team football at his parent club looking likely.
Now, after a recent run of form, Beşiktaş, want to keep him, and, although they have the option to buy him outright, they are constrained by financial considerations and would prefer to extend his loan agreement.
Liverpool are unlikely to block such a move in exchange for an appropriate loan fee.
