Jadon Sancho remains on track to make his move from Manchester United to Chelsea into a permanent move.
When he made the decision to join the Stamford Bridge club at the start of the season, the deal between the two clubs included an obligation to buy, which is reported to be between ₤22 and ₤25 million, with the exact amount depending on where Chelsea finish in the league.
And, although Sancho, like the rest of the squad, have had their struggles recently, they still believe that this represents a considerable bargain, especially taking into account the player’s potential ceiling.
And his weekly wages of ₤100k means that he is also relatively affordable.
Sancho, for his part, is happy in London and glad to escape the atmosphere at Old Trafford, where things had become toxic for him, the longest in a succession of United big money transfers that did not work.
