Former Arsenal and Manchester City midfielder has undergone a medical ahead of joining the Hammers on a six month loan.
Nasri is currently serving an 18-month drugs ban for an intravenous drip that he received whilst on holiday in Los Angeles in 2016 that was found to contravene doping regulations.
However, the 31-year old will be able to resume his career in January and, according to The Daily Mirror, it is West Ham who have been quickest to act to his availability, and are ready to sign him on a deal to the end of the season.
West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini knows Nasri well, having previously worked with the Frenchman when they were both at Manchester City together, and is hoping that, if fit, the former French international can bring some creativity to a midfield that is currently depleted by the absence of players like Jack Wilshere, Carlos Sanchez, and Manuel Lanzini.
