Both Manchester clubs want Inter defender

Both Manchester clubs are reported to want Inter Milan defender Milan Ŝkriniar.

The Slovenian international joined Inter from Sampdoria in 2017 and has made 100 Serie A appearances for the club and has established a name for himself as one of the best defenders in Italy. However, he has struggled to adapt to Antonio Conté’s preferred system of playing three at the back, and now they are willing to sell him, although he will not come cheap.

Ŝkriniar, who has been capped 31 times at senior level by his country, is a strong defensive leader good in the tackle and with a fine positional sense. He is also good in the air and in dealing with one-to-one situations.

Now it has been reported that Manchester United have tabled a bid of €65 million (£58 million) for him, and that Manchester City have matched their offer.
