Kepa wants to force his way back into contention for next summer’s Euros, but has been warned by his national team manager Luis Enrique that he will only be in contention if he is playing regularly.
Chelsea would not eb averse to selling him permanently but recognise that finding any willing buyers is a tall order. Instead a loan spell would benefit both the player and the club – if he does find some form elsewhere, it will boost his valuation ahead of a potential departure in the future.
