Higuain not wanted back by parent club

Juventus do not want Gonzalo Higuain back.

That is according to The Sun who report that the Italian Champions and Serie A leaders, who are Higuain’s parent club have no intention of welcoming him back to Turin in the summer, and will look to sell him if Chelsea decide against keeping him at Stamford Bridge.

Higuain started the season on loan at AC Milan, but that agreement was terminated with his move to Chelsea in January. The Stamford Bridge outfit have the option to make his transfer permanent, with the Argentine having a £31.5 million buy-out clause, and, if he meets certain team and goal scoring targets by May, they will be obliged to keep him for another season at least. However, he has only scored twice so far for them, in the 5 – 0 home defeat of bottom-side Huddersfield Town, and was left on the bench for the Carabao Cup Final at the weekend.

Juventus need to get Higuain’s £300,000 a week wages off their books, in order to accommodate Cristiano Ronaldo’s salary and the £400,000 a week that the incoming Aaron Ramsey will earn.
