Arsenal are keeping tabs on Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Jean-Mattéo Bahoya.
He is an attacking midfielder, who, although primarily left-footed, can operate on either flank, although he often plays as an inverted winger. He also excels on one-on-one duels, where he can use his dribbling ability to get past opponents.
Bahoya has the pace, technical ability and versatility that would make him an ideal candidate to feature in a Mikel Arteta team.
Valued at ₤15 million, he might make a valuable addition to the squad and at a price that would not break the bank, although that could increase if he continues to make progress.
For the time being, Arsenal are maintaining a watching brief, and want to gather more data, and compile detailed scouting reports before considering whether to make an offer for the young Frenchman.
