Everton want to send striker Armando Broja back to Chelsea.
The 23 year old striker moved to Goodison Park on loan at the start of the season, but then suffered ankle ligament damage that ruled him out of action for three months. Since then, he has struggled to make any impression for the Merseyside club.
New manager David Moyes would like to improve his attacking options, but with money tight, will probably need to rely on the loan market. However, having used their four loan allocations this season, they need to give up one to release space in the squad, with Broja their preference.
It has been suggested that either Kieran Dewsbury-Hall or Careny Chukwuemaka could be substituted for Broja, but Chelsea are not in the mood to help out a Premier League rival, and are likely to demand full compensation for Broja as per the terms of the original deal.
