Everton have begun talks with Chelsea about signing their striker Armando Broja who has also been linked with Wolves.

The 22 year old academy graduate is hoping for a new challenge after a  poor 2023/2024 season which saw him score just once in 21 Premier League match and fail to force his way into Marco Silva’s side after joining Fulham on loan in January.

Broja is currently away with the Albania squad preparing for the Euros, qualifying to play for them through his parentage, even though he was born in Slough.

Chelsea, who have issues with meeting the Premier League’s profitability and sustainability rues are hoping for a quick sale because, in accounting terms, it will count as pure profit in their books.

The Merseyside club have their own financial concerns and that may force them to sell one of their prime assets in the form of striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin, with Broja earmarked as his potential replacement.
