Borussia Dortmund have agreed that a deal has hs been struck with Chelsea for the sale of winger Jamie Gittens.
The England under-21 international will move for an initial fee of ₤48.5 million plus a various ₤3.5 million in add-ons and bonuses.
He is set to sign a seven year deal at Stamford Bridge.
With both clubs still involved in the Club World Cup, representatives from the two sides met in Fort Lauderdale to finalise the deal.
Gittens is Chelsea’s fifth summer signing after Liam Delap, João Pedro, Dario Essugo and Mamadou Sarr, whilst Brazilian teenager Estêvão Willian will complete his own move, after finishing his Club World Cup campaign with Palmeiras (who Chelsea meet in the quarter-finals).
