West Bromwich Albion have joined AC Milan and a number of other teams in the chase to sign Arsenal midfielder Krystian Bielik.
The 21 year old impressed last season whilst on loan with Charlton Athletic, and played a key part in helping the south London side secure promotion via the play-offs from League One to the Championship. He further enhanced his reputation with a series of impressive performances for Poland in the European under-21 Championships.
However, back at his parent club, Una Emery is struggling to find a regular role for him in the Arsenal squad, and are open to let him leave, mindful of the fact that the player does not want to play under-23 football any more.
That has seen clubs from Holland, Germany and the Championship express an interest, as well as AC Milan, who were regarded as favourites to sign him until their season-long ban from Europe for breaching the regulations of FFP (Financial Fair Play) were confirmed.
