A new centre-back is widely considered to be one of the priorities for Chelsea in this summer’s transfer market.
And now the latest name linked with a move to Stamford Bridge is AC Milan’s Strahinja Pavlović., who has been one of the Serie A club’s best players this season.
The 24-year old has already made 30 appearances for Milan this campaign and has become one of the names on the team-sheet. And he has also been useful at the other end, having had a hand in five goals that Max Allegri’s side have scored.
Valued at around £35 million, reports suggest that Chelsea’s interest may be serious, and that they have already opened talks with the Serbian international who formerly played for Salzburg.
Should he arrive, there may be departures to make way for him with Trevoh Chalobah. Wesley Fofana and Axel Disasi amongst those who could be playing for new clubs next season.
