Arsenal are leading the race to sign Roma defender Evan Ndicka, although they face competition from both Newcastle United and PSG.
The Ivory Coast international has been an ever-present for Roma in Serie A this season, and he he is one of four players to have played every single minute in the league.
Signed from Eintracht Frankfurt in 2023, he has since become a key player for Roma, and one of the first name on the team-sheet.
His consistency has now attracted attention from a number of other clubs in Europe, and Arsenal are one of the sides that have been in touch to gauge his availability. And it seems like a deal could be struck for a fee in the region of between ₤25 million and ₤34 million.
Although Arsenal’s transfer priorities are set to be further up the pitch, they are keen to have more strength in depth at centre-back, especially as Jakub Kiwior continues to be linked with a return to Serie A in the next transfer window.
