Arsenal are one of the clubs interested in signing Turkish playmaker Arda Güler.
He is currently with Real Madrid, but has struggled for game time this season under Carlo Ancelotti
Güler impressed playing for Turkey at the Euros in the summer, and is highly regarded at the Bernabeu, but with so much competition for places there, he is having to be patient.
Recently Juventus were forced to deny reports that they had signed him after it was revealed that their English social media account had been hacked (some fans were reported to be ready to welcome him at the airport before the truth was revealed).
Although Liverpool are also interested, the Gunners are hoping to repeat the trick they pulled off with Martin Ødeagaard – taking somebody signed by the Spanish club at an early age, and then transforming them into a world class player.
