Arsenal eyeing Wolves defender

Arsenal may be third in the table, but their defence remains a major problem, and their clean sheet against Bournemouth on Sunday was only their second in the Premier League this season.

Now they are considering making a move for Wolves centre-back Willy Boly as Unai Emery looks for more defensive reinforcements at the back.

The 28 year old Frenchman joined Wolves from Porto in 17, initially on loan, before signing a permanent contract after helping the West Midlands side to promotion. He has played 92 times for Wolves in all competitions, and scored 8 times, including the late winner at Turkish side Beşiktaş in the Europa League on Thursday. He was also at the heart of the Wolves defence on Sunday as his side pulled off a shock 2 – 0 away win at Manchester City.

Should Wolves sell Boly they can expect a sizeable profit on the £10 million they originally paid for him, but do not want to lose a key member of their defence.
