Jayden Braaf is the latest young Manchester City winger to be linked with a move to the Bundesliga and Borussia Dortmund.
The 18-year-old joined the City academy system from PSV Eindhoven in 2018, and was voted the club’s under-23 Player of the Year award last season. His style and performances have drawn inevitable comparisons with Jadon Sancho, and, like him, his has become frustrated by his lack of first-team opportunities at The Etihad.
He would be the third former City player to follow the route to Dortmund. Apart from Sancho, who is now valued in excess of £100 million, there is also Jamie Bynoe-Gittins who made the switch earlier this year and is currently part of the Bundesliga club’s under-19 squad.
In addition, The Germans also pounced for Birmingham City’s highly rated teenage midfielder Jude Bellingham at the start of this season, and he has already earned his first England cap.
