AC Milan want to take Chelsea midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka on loan in January, with the deal to include a subsequent option to buy.
Chukwuemeka is reported to be in favour of the deal, and now it is down to the Italian club to persuade Chelsea. The England under-20 has grown frustration with his lack of game time at Stamford Bridge, having made just four appearances in all competitions this season.
Milan are not the only interested party in him, though, with Celtic also closely monitoring his situation.
He was signed in the summer of 2022, part of the initial transfer splurge under Todd Boehly, but his early progress in West London was hampered by a knee injury, and with his career having stalled, he is now keen on a fresh start.
Milan and Chelsea have a long history of transfer dealings together.
