He is still seeking for a replacement for Kepa Arrizabalaga as the number one goalkeeper at the club, and now Gianluigi Donnaruma of AC Milan is being touted as the latest possible candidate.
They have turned to him after previous choices, Andre Onana from Ajax, Dean Henderson, and Edouard Mendy from Rennes all became unavailable for one reason or another.
The Italian international is out of contract at the San Siro next summer, and Chelsea are ready to offer £45 million to sign him now.
Donnaruma has already made over 200 appearances for Milan in all competitions, after making his debut as a 16-year old.
