Arsenal have made Lyon star Nabil Fekir their number one summer target, according to talkSPORT.
The 24-year old forward has enjoyed a strong season in Ligue 1 this season, with 21 goals and 5 assists for his club which currently lies fourth in the French top league.
Fekir is currently Lyon club captain and caused controversy earlier this season when his celebrations in a derby match against rivals Saint Etienne caused the home fans to riot as they suffered a 5 – 0 thrashing.
He is expected to be part of the French squad for the World Cup, with his national manager saying of him “Fekir is a player with great potential. He can score and set up others to score well”.
Arsenal are ready pay £45 million for the player, with reports suggesting that Arsene Wenger wants the move wrapped-up as soon as the transfer window opens in June, because of fears that his price might increase dramatically if he has a good World Cup.
