Chelsea are looking to bring Mykhailo Mudryk’s unhappy time at Stamford Bridge to an end.
When they bought him from under the noses of Arsenal in January 2023 from Shakhtar Donetsk much was expected of the Ukrainian international, but he has struggled to adapt to the pace and physicality of the Premier League, and the Blues are ready to cut their losses.
Signed for a fee of ₤88.5 million and handed a long-term contract, Chelsea know they will have to take a major loss, but are prepared to swallow this in order to get him off their books.
There is reported interest from other Premier League clubs like Aston Villa, West Ham and Brighton, and the South Coast club’s former manager, Roberto di Zerbi, who is now with Marseille, is also tracking his situation.
He could be available for as little as ₤30 million, as Chelsea look to readjust their squad.
