Both Fiorentina and Napoli would like to take Arsenal defender Jakub Kiwior on loan in January.
The Polish international was signed by the Gunners in January 2023 from Spezia, but has struggled to nail down a first-team place at the Emirates, and most of his 47 appearances from the club have been from the bench.
And, although, he is naturally a centre-back, he has often been deployed as a left-back instead.
He was previously linked with a return to Serie A in the summer, but Arsenal rejected all overtures for him then, and are likely to do so again, because they are short of options at centre-half.
The sight of Gabriel limping off before the end of their Champions League tie in Lisbon was a concern, and Kiwior may well find himself pressed into action, should be now be missing for several weeks.
He is under contract in North London until 2028.
