Arsenal winger Reiss Nelson wants to bring a premature end to his loan move to Fulham.
The intention was that he would join the Gunners’ West London rivals and gain the regular game time that he struggled to get at the Emirates over the past two seasons.
However, things have not panned out as planned, and he has made just two Premier League starts for the Cottagers this season. Although he has made several other appearances off the bench, in essence his circumstances have not changed.
Arsenal are also not happy with the situation either, and Nelson has already had conversations with Mikel Arteta about returning to the club in the January window.
Now there are suggestions that he and his agent are exploring the possibility of him returning to the Bundesliga.
When he was a teenager he spent a season on loan at Hoffenheim, although that spell was marrd by injury.
