Manchester City are considering re-signing Cole Palmer, a player they sold to Chelsea just last summer.
At the time it seemed a good piece of business by City, offloading one of their fringe layers for ₤38 million.
What they could not have expected was how Palmer has since blossomed in West London, scoring 22 goals and providing 11 assists in the Premier league alone.
He has also just been named England Player of the Year.
Already on a long contract at Stamford bridge, Palmer was rewarded earlier this season with a further extension until 2033.
City are now in the market for a long-term replacement for Kevin de Bruyne, but know that getting Palmar back will not come cheap.
There have been suggestions that it might take a bid of more than ₤125 million to get him back, which would be a record for an English club.
