Arsenal are one of several clubs linked with a move for Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman.
The 28 year old French international is expected to leave the Allianz Arena before the close of the transfer window, with the Bundesliga club wanting ₤35 million for him.
However, they are also open to allow him to go on loan for the coming season, with the Gunners one of the clubs reported to be interested in him along with PSG and Barcelona, who are now managed by Hansi Flick.
Coman played under Flick and scored the winning goal in the 2020 Champions League final.
It is reported that Coman himself would prefer a move to the Premier League.
Ahead of the new season, Arsenal are continuing to evaluate a number of wide players, and the need to find a reliable back-up for Bukayo Saka remains unsolved. A lengthy injury to the England man could yet derail any title challenge.
