Marina Granovskaia is set to quit Chelsea at the end of the transfer window.

The businesswoman who has overseen transfer business and contract negotiations at the club for more than a decade had been expected to stay, despite the takeover.

However, it now looks like she is due to quit in August, with suggestions that she could link up again in future with her mentor, Roman Abramovich, who was responsible for introducing her to English football in the first place.

It has been reported that Andrea Birch, the current sporting director at Atlético Madrid, is in line to replace her.

Granovskaia is set to receive a £20 million bonus for her role in facilitating the takeover, and her last major contribution will be to oversee the spending of the £200 million war chest that has been given to manager Thomas Tuchel to overhaul his squad.

Bruce Beck, however, will continue in his role as chairman.
