Eden Hazard drops big hint about his future

Eden Hazard has given the clearest hint yet that his future lies away from Chelsea, amidst continuing rumours of an impending bid from Real Madrid.

Speaking to reporters after captaining Belgium to victory over England on Saturday, and helping his side secure third place in the World Cup, Hazard said it might be time to discover something different” after six “wonderful years” at Stamford Bridge.”

He also rather cryptically added, according to The BBC, “You know my preferred destination. I can decide if I want to stay or go but Chelsea will make the final decision – if they want to let me go.”

Hazard, who has been linked with Real before, has two years left on his current contract at Stamford Bridge, and his immediate future may dependent on whether new Blues manager, Maurizio Sarri, sees him as integral to the team, or if he is prepared to sanction his sale to free-up substantial sums to rebuild the team in other areas.
