Juventus want to take Alvaro Morata back to Turin

According to The Daily Telegraph, Juventus are considering a move in the summer to bring Chelsea forward Alvaro Morata back to the club where he spent two seasons on loan.

Despite being the club’s record-signing, Morata has endured a difficult first season in English football, struggling to adapt both off and on the pitch, with the robust nature of Premier League defenders not to his liking. Although he insists he is happy at the club, his downbeat demeanour around Chelsea’s training ground suggests that he would prefer to return to his homeland, Spain, or Italy.

Morata joined Chelsea from Real Madrid for £57 million last summer, and has scored 14 goals in all competitions for the Blues. However, he has found goals difficult to come by at various points in a campaign which has seen Chelsea drop out of contention for the Champions League next season, amidst continued uncertainty over the future of manager Antonio Conte and a number of other players at the club.
