AC Milan have asked Arsenal about the potential araciality of Polish centre-back Jakub Kiwior this summer.
Kiwior wants regular first-team football, having acted as back-up to William Saliba and Gabriel since he joined the club.
An injury to Gabriel meant he enjoyed a sustained run in the team at the end of last season, but the Brazilian has recovered in time for the start of the new campaign.
However, Milan regard the Gunners’ valuation of the player at ₤25 million, and would like to explore the possibility of a loan deal, with perhaps an option to buy.
Arsenal, however, have made it clear that they are only interested in a permanent deal.
Crystal Palace are also monitoring developments with the future of their captain Marc Guèhi currently uncertain. However, they have yet to translate their interest into a formal offer.
