Goalkeeper Djordje Petrović wants to leave Chelsea and asked to be left out of their squad for the Club World Cup.

The Serbian had a successful spell on loan at sister club Strasbourg last season, and that has helped put him in the shop window, with claims that his agent has fielded numerous calls about him from other teams.

Given that Enzo Maresca has decided that the 25 year old is not good enough to play in the Premier League he is now up for sale.

Chelsea have already seen one goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli join Manchester City, whilst another Kepa Arrizabalaga is closing in on a move to Arsenal.

The West London club had a bid for AC Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan turned down in the first transfer window, but they may revisit that once they have returned from the US.
