Tottenham are interested in signing Christopher Nkonku this summer.
They are ready to take the French international on loan initially but with an obligation to buy.
Tottenham had a terrible league season finishing 17th but they have still qualified for the Champions League next season courtesy of their victory in the Europa League final.
And now they are looking to strengthen their squad with striker one of their priority areas. Nkonku is almost certain to leave Chelsea this summer having become a bit-part player under Enzo Maresca.
He has been linked with a return to Germany ,- he was originally signed from RB Leipzig or a move to Italy, but he could now get the chance to kick start his career without leaving London, and he will also get the chance to play in the Champions League.
Chelsea themselves continue to be rumoured to be in the market for another striker, with Viktor Gyökeres, Liam Delap and Hugo Ekitike among those linked with a move to Stamford Bridge.
