Both Tottenham Hotspur and Brighton are interested in signing Chelsea defender Renato Veiga.
The Portuguese international is spending the second half of this season on loan in Italy with Juventus, with whom he has made 8 appearances so far. However, although the deal includes an option to buy, the Italian club are unlikely to exercise that.
It means instead he will return to Stamford Bridge, where his future is unclear. The 21 year old wanted to leave the club in the first-place because he wanted more regular time in his preferred centre-back position, where Chelsea are already well-stacked in terms of options.
That is where he has played for Portugal under Roberto Martínez, and he wants to become stablished in that position because he believes that is his best chance to secure a place in their 2026 World Cup plans.
Both Tottenham and Brighton are aware of his position, and are ready to tempt Chelsea with bids for the 21-year old.
