Chelsea are set to compete with Barcelona to sign Porto goalkeeper Diogo Costa next summer.
The Premier League club has currently four goalkeepers in their squad, but Enzo Maresca is unconvinced by any of them and is looking for a player who can come in and be the undisputed number one.
Bayern Munich are also tracking him, as they look for a long-term replacement for Manuel Neuer.
There are also suggestions that Manchester United may also be considering him as an alternative to André Onana.
The 25 year old has made nine league starts for Porto this season, and kept clean sheets in six of them.
His current deal with the Primeira Liga club runs until 2027, and he has a release clause of ₤64 million.
However. Indications are that Porto may be willing to listen to offers in the region of ₤40 million for a player who has been capped 31 times for Portugal.
