Arsenal midfielder Jorginho is considering ending his playing career in order to take up a coaching role at the club.
The 32- year old joined the Gunners from Chelsea in January 2023, initially on an 18 moth deal.
That was further extended for a year at the end of last season, with an option for a further year.
Now he has the choice of taking that extension or joining the coaching staff under Mikel Arteta.
Although his game time has been limited this season so far, he remains a powerful voice in the dressing room, and his experience is proving invaluable to some of his younger team-mates.
He is yet to make a definitive decision about his future, and may not yet be ready to hang up his boots just yet.
However, it seems inevitable that he will move into coaching at some stage, and taking up a job with Arsenal means that he gets to stay in London.
