Chelsea are willing to let Ukrainian winger Mykhailo Mudryk leave the club in January.
He was signed in the January window in 2023, Chelsea outbidding Arsenal to acquire the services of a player who had been making headlines across Europe, in what was regarded at the time as a major statement of intent by the West London side.
Mudryk was then handed an eight and a half year deal, but he has struggled to adapt to life in the Premier League, and has scored just five goals in 48 league appearances spread across three seasons.
Bayern Munich and Marseille have both been linked with a move for him, but Chelsea are set to make a substantial loss on any deal for him.
They paid Shakhtar Donetsk an initial transfer fee of ₤62 million, but will be fortunate if they manage to recoup even half of that figure.
